Hydrochloric Acid is a strong mineral acid that is corrosive and incorporated with many industrial applications. It is a colorless, highly acrid solution in water, after reacting with the organic base it sorts a hydrochloride salt. Being highly corrosive it must be handled with proper safety measures. Standing as the major constituent of gastric acid, this monoprotic acid is routinely utilized in manufacturing plants and chemical research laboratories.
